RED SIX MEDIA TAKES HOME 12 AWARDS AT THE BATON ROUGE ADDYS
PSA: It’s awards season! Red Six Media won big this year at the 2020 American Advertising Federation Baton Rouge’s ADDY Awards, with one of our biggest achievements being the Mosaic Award for featuring diversity in advertising.
Nearing the end of a decade and knowing we had to escape Planet Boring, we worked our pants off. From crafting a comical advertising campaign for Rotolo’s Pizzeria to designing vintage-inspired product info sheets for Three Roll Estate, there’s nothing we value more than being Your Brand’s Happy Place. (Hence our 10-year anniversary event that won gold this year, too!)
So grab some popcorn, take a comfy seat and start scrolling through our 2020 ADDY Awards list.
P.S. We think these projects are sixsational.

Client: Red Six Media
Project: Invasion from Planet Boring – Advertising Industry Self-Promotion Online/Interactive
Committed to being Your Brand’s Happy Place, 2019’s holiday message/gift came in the form of a link to a retro arcade game for our friends, families and clients to play on their desktop. Using their keyboard arrow keys, users helped our intergalactic mascot, Munchkin, defend the galaxy from invaders from planet boring and their onslaught of Badvertising.

Gold Addy
Client: Rotolo’s Pizzeria
Project: Feed Everybody – Local Television Commercial Campaign
Highlighting Rotolo’s Pizzeria as a local eatery where you can “Feed Everybody,” picky eaters were featured in three comic, 15-second spots with sets that tore away to reveal Rotolo’s Pizzeria as the place where even the pickiest palates can be pleased.
Silver Addy
Client: Watermark Hotel
Project: The Story of the Watermark Hotel – Brochure
Marriott Autograph Collection hotels lean on their architecture and interior design to immerse their guests in the history of the structure. The former site of the Louisiana National Bank, the Watermark’s interior design was influenced by the banking industry of yesteryears. Inspired by midcentury checkbooks, Red Six Media designed an informative brochure that evoked the Watermark’s rich history, delivering a compelling brochure featuring carefully researched stories and thoughtful design.

Client: TECxNEXT
Project: TECxNEXT – Event
Weeks before the first annual TECxNEXT conference, our client reached out for some much-needed help. They had the venue, the name, the website and a host of attendees, but no design, story or messaging to pull it all together. Working at breakneck speed, our creative team created extraordinary design and even turned TECxNEXT into a descriptive acronym—Technology & Energy Consortium eXploring New Energy eXpectations of Tomorrow.

Client: Capital Area United Way
Project: The Line – Internet Commercial, Copywriting
In proud support of the Capital Area United Way’s awareness campaign for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE) capital area residents, we worked with Darius and Lashaun to explain what it is like to work full-time but still not make ends meet. There is a line of financial independence that too many of our neighbors struggle to stay ahead of. United Way supporters help families put that line far behind them.

Client: Rotolo’s Pizzeria
Project: Feed Everybody – Integrated Advertising Campaign – Local – Consumer
Competition among restaurants is fierce. Competition among pizzerias is brutal. Creating a carefully targeted integrated campaign across print, social media, digital and broadcast that highlighted Rotolo’s Pizzeria as the preferred pizzeria where you can “Feed Everybody” was a creative challenge, and we couldn’t be prouder to have over-delivered for a happy client.
Silver Addy
Client: ExxonMobil – Baytown
Project: Here For Good – Integrated Advertising Campaign – Local – Consumer
It was an honor to help ExxonMobil celebrate 100 years in Baytown, Texas. Building a campaign that resonated with audiences through digital, print, social media and collateral was a big order, but with a century of building an industry and community behind them, we knew that ExxonMobil Baytown earned the right to claim they are Here for Good.
