This is the first in a series of videos the Louisiana Chemical Association challenged Red Six to produce. Heroes on the Homefront is a tribute to the men and women who fought to protect our freedom both abroad and right here in Louisiana. They fought the war with hard hats instead of helmets. They attacked the Axis powers with rivets instead of rifles. They helped win battles with crude oil and engineering instead of combats boots. We were honored to work with the LCA and its communications team, as well as the folks at the WWII Museum in New Orleans, to bring this story to life. One of our fondest memories of our time at Red Six is attending the premiere of this video at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans.
The industry that creates the products we use every day is the same industry that provides opportunities for Louisianans to get good jobs, earn good money and secure a bright future for themselves, for their families and for our great state.
The sequel to Heroes on the Homefront, Producing the New America is a story of the chemical industry’s post-war growth and importance not only to Louisiana but also to the rest of the country.
