The Sr. Digital Strategist is experienced in strategizing digital campaigns for clients using all forms of digital marketing. They work with leadership across agency teams to develop campaigns, communicate content, monitor online communities, uncover insights, analyze metrics, and effectively educate our clients in all of the above. The Sr. Digital Strategist is responsible for a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and is a core contributor to agency strategic initiatives. Lastly, the Sr. Digital Strategist directs our clients and team on customer segmentation, media strategy tactics, and execution while ensuring that media strategies align with campaign objectives.


  • Serve as an internal leader for all things digital including emerging trends and practices
  • Help plan our clients’ communication programs and infuse smart, creative and measurable digital components into integrated communication campaigns
  • Define scope, recommend approach and execution of digital strategy and strategic planning projects for clients
  • Analyze trends and results to guide decision-making
  • Lead media plans for clients by conducting preliminary research on markets, target audiences, consumer analysis and competitor analysis
  • Manage and mentor our Social Media Manager and Digital Media Buyer(s)
  • Work to develop creative briefs that fully incorporate the digital perspective and inspire clients and creative teams alike to come up with idea development and implementation
  • Lead the determination of appropriate and effective media mixes that would achieve our clients’ goals within our clients’ budgets
  • Help pitch and win new business, including contributing ideas to proposals and pitch presentations
  • Stay current on users, interactive trends, best practices and digital experiences with an eye toward client base, proactively identifying opportunities for client growth
  • Establish digital benchmarks of success for each campaign
  • Translate sets of data—whether its brand metrics, sales data, or web analytics—into meaningful insights and specific digital communication opportunities
  • Create spec sheets with digital ad types, copy needs/character limits and dimensions for the creative team to produce deliverables
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly reports and provide analysis of overall campaign performance to clients and team;  balance campaign budgets on a monthly basis
  • Work with the Creative team on campaign development through education of ad types and platforms used in a campaign, as well as best practices


  • 5+ years of digital media buying and planning experience
  • 3+ years of management experience preferred
  • Ability to execute digital campaigns across various platforms including but not limited to: Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Google Ads/YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok
  • Experience leading  with digital marketing teams to implement tracking pixels on landing pages and analyze Google Analytics reports
  • Expertise in planning, buying and/or optimizing SEO, SEM, PPC, Geofencing, and Retargeting advertising campaigns
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing digital and social analytics with an understanding of identifying key metrics and optimizing for them
  • In-depth understanding of what makes for great advertising in all types of media
  • Ability to problem solve and think quickly in response to unexpected situations
  • Experience with a team of creatives preferred, including partnering with creative leads to strengthen and evolve our work into an end product that exceeds client expectations
  • Ability to multitask and oversee a high volume of projects simultaneously 
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate with clients, creative leads and project managers to ensure all incoming needs are documented, delegated and scheduled correctly
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced situations with clients and coworkers
  • Must be able to work in a multi-discipline, collaborative environment and have a deep knowledge of digital media with the ability to discuss the ROI of campaigns
