A Successful Social Media Campaign to Support Louisiana’s Essential Workers

During the pandemic, the Sixer team faced many challenges — from working at home to shifting our strategy and messaging with our clients. But in those challenges, we were fortunate enough to embark on new opportunities. We partnered with our nonprofit client, 19 Thanks, to brand, conceptualize and institute a statewide virtual celebration to thank Louisiana’s essential workers. 

In just two-and-a-half weeks, we created and executed an integrated ad and social media campaign directing viewers to participate in a “Virtual Second Line to Thank Our Front Line” on May 19 at 19:00 hours. 

With over 1.3 million impressions, 400,000 video views and 35,000 engagements, this social media campaign far exceeded our client’s expectations. Our digital strategist, Nicole Marchand, and social media manager, Kat Miller — along with the entire creative team — worked together to make this campaign a true success.
